24 – 34 Weeks | Best time: Around 26 Weeks

Our Premium Growth Scan 4D / 5D offers an enhanced pregnancy scan experience, combining a detailed well-being and growth assessment with breathtaking real-time 4D and 5D imaging.

Available between 24 and 34 weeks, with the best time around 26 weeks, this scan is ideal for parents who want both medical reassurance and unforgettable keepsakes.

During your appointment, you’ll be able to see and hear your baby’s heartbeat, watch their movements in stunning detail, and receive important growth information, including an estimated foetal weight. Optional gender confirmation is also available if requested.

What’s Included in Your Premium Growth Scan 4D / 5D:

  • 2D and 4D / 5D ultrasound scan – gentle abdominal scan across the top of your tummy
  • See and hear your baby’s heartbeat
  • Real-time 4D / 5D images showing your baby’s position, movements, and features
  • Growth measurements, including estimated foetal weight
  • Comprehensive well-being check, including heartbeat, placenta position, and amniotic fluid levels
  • Gender confirmation, available on request
  • All digital images included – a minimum of 15 images, plus two video CineClips
  • Four full-colour glossy prints (6×4″)
  • Six black and white printed images
  • Extended appointment time of 20–30 minutes

  • If we are unable to complete the main purpose of the scan (for example, due to your baby’s position), a free rescan may be offered

Additional Scan Information

If your baby is not in the correct position and we can’t obtain clear view, you may return for a re-scan free of charge or downgrade. Please see your options below:

You can decide either to:

  • Downgrade to the Growth Scan package (£79) no 4d scan will be charged or
  • Come back free of charge for a retry (if we are still unable to obtain the primary purpose of this scan, unfortunately no refund can be Full price of your package will be charged, because of the scanning time.)

If you are experiencing pelvic pain or bleeding, we recommend you consult your local hospital in the first instance or call NHS-111 for advice. If you are still concerned, we are more than happy to see you.

You are welcome to bring guests to this scan, unless for very early stage of pregnancy, we recommend you do not bring children. To find out how many guests are allowed, pls see our T&C’s. This scan is for people over 18 years of age.

This scan is in addition to your NHS routine diagnostic scan appointments and will not replace your NHS routine diagnostic scan appointments.

Please be advised we only scan you for long enough to achieve the purpose of your appointment. Our aim is to protect both baby and yourself in accordance with the guidelines of the BMUS Guidance seen here  and we regularly update our procedures based on BMUS guidance.

If we recommend to see your NHS care provider for ongoing further checks, we will provide you with a copy of your report to your healthcare provider. It is your responsibility to ensure to consult your NHS care provider without delay. (please see our T&C’s for additional details)

  • Please bring your maternity records / recent NHS scan reports if available
